Creative Attention Grabbers

Of at least 50,000 messages people are bombarded with yearly, how can yours STAND out?
-
Use color paper - stands out from usual and helps ID your mailings.
-
Use special sign off: Example, I use “Art-fully yours”
-
Send an actual KEY miniature or real old one… with “You’re the Key to my success story…”
-
Mail your message in a tube.
-
For 2 reasons I use old posters to wrap boxes and luggage on trips:
-
for easy identification due to repeated image
-
walking advertising during entire trip - silent sell and a conversation opener for strangers.
-
Buy expensive tie (or bowtie) - have special message painted on it which inflates ego of wearer. I did this for a TV interviewer who talked about it many times on national TV.
-
Have your message printed on a pillowcase - send with a note “Think of me tonight”.
-
Develop an entire TV format around your particular subject - suggesting other guests to round out the show.
-
Congratulate media person on recent event. Suggest how he/she could also “shine” by covering your story.
